This presentation will provide attendees with an understanding of what the term “Attachment” means, what the different attachment styles are, and how they develop in early childhood. We will explore what happens when a child develops an insecure attachment style and provide a clearer definition of Reactive Attachment Disorder. The presentation will conclude with strategies that can be used to build connections and foster a secure attachment with students.
