“All it takes is one caring, consistent adult to make a difference in a child’s life” (Scales & Leffert, 1999), and as educators, we have the opportunity to be that person for our students. Research from the Search Institute’s Developmental Relationships Framework highlights actionable strategies for building strong, meaningful connections with students. This interactive session will explore the practical steps educators can take to enhance rapport, helping students discover who they are, develop essential life skills, and learn how to engage with and contribute to the world around them.
