Educators will explore how to intentionally use mentor texts to elevate student writing across grade levels and genres. Participants will learn how to select powerful texts, model craft moves, and guide students in noticing and applying techniques such as strong leads, organization, voice, word choice, and purposeful endings. Through practical examples and ready-to-use strategies, teachers will leave with tools to make writing instruction more explicit, engaging, and transferable to students’ independent work.Â
Registration closes on June 15, 2026, or when the participant cap is reached.
