What distinguishes a ho-hum classroom from an extraordinary classroom? Laughter. Humor activates the brain’s dopamine reward system, stimulating goal-oriented motivation and long-term memory, which means that humor can improve retention in students of all ages. Come laugh with us and learn ways to get your classroom learning with laughter!

We will also spend some time with one of the best tools to help kids learn mindful breathing, the Breathing Ball. With an expandable ball, also known as the Hoberman Sphere, you can easily help kids learn to follow their breath – one of the key techniques of mindfulness practice. We will go through several ways to use a breathing ball in your classroom and discuss the importance of breath work.
