Engaging adolescent students in the learning process is essential for creating an effective educational environment. In this session, educators will explore innovative strategies and practical techniques to cultivate student engagement in their classrooms.

Designed specifically for junior high and high school educators, this session delves into the unique challenges and opportunities of engaging adolescents in the learning process. Participants will model simple and quick active learning strategies for raising the level of participation in the classroom while making the classroom environment one that fosters collaboration, respect and a sense of belonging.

Participants in this session will engage in hands-on activities, discussions, and collaborative exercises to apply the strategies learned to their own teaching contexts. By the end of the session, educators will leave with a toolkit of practical strategies and actionable insights to create fun, engaging learning experiences for junior high and high school students.
