    Dr. Herschel Hannah

    Bridge Fellowship Coach

    Dr. Herschel Hannah is a semi-retired Educational Leader. Currently, he serves as a Leadership Coach, Mentor and Consultant for the Illinois Principal Association and the Bridge Project. In addition to coaching and mentoring school leaders, he provides professional development in the areas of Relationship Building, School Culture, Mindset, Team building and Leadership Development. Dr. Hannah’s   educational career began as an eighth-grade middle school science teacher. Subsequently, he has held assignments as an assistant/Associate High School Principal, Middle School Principal, and High School Principal before moving to district cabinet level  assignments as Assistant/Associate Superintendent in District 150 and then to the assignment as Assistant Superintendent of Human  Resources in Bloomington Public Schools District 87. He has been an adjunct professor for Illinois State University, a John Maxwell  Certified Coach, Speaker, and Leadership Trainer. His passion is to actively support the professional growth and development of school leaders.

    Dr. Scott Kuffel has served public education for nearly 40 years in all different capacities.  He was twice the Superintendent of the Year in his region and in 20118 was named a Superintendent of Distinction through the Illinois Association of School Administrators (IASA).  He also served as the President of IASA in 2015.  Scott has a passion for coaching leaders and helping develop highly effective teams.  He facilitates small groups and large groups in making better decisions, engaging communities and developing strategic and short-term action plans.  While he is not the most traditional of school and district leaders, his mission is to meet people where they are and help them get to where they want and need to be.

    Dr. Dawn Green

    Bridge Fellowship Coach

    Dawn has been an administrator in education since 1992. After teaching high school history, Dawn became an administrator serving as a dean/assistant principal at both Bloomington High School and Normal West High School. After serving as the associate principal at Normal West, Dawn became the principal at Chiddix Junior High School in Normal. From there she went to the district office for McLean County Unit #5, and served as the secondary curriculum director and then as the director of human resources. In 2011, Dawn became a superintendent at Somonauk School District, followed by a superintendency at Palos Heights School District.

    Since retirement in 2019, Dawn has stayed active in the profession serving, as interim principal, curriculum director, operations director, superintendent, and currently serves as a part-time principal/superintendent for a small school in central Illinois. Following several training opportunities, Dawn has been fortunate to mentor both principals and superintendents, as well as supervise new teachers in the field of education.

    Lori retired from the Quincy Public Schools in August 2022 after 33 years of service in the field of education. Lori served as a special education teacher for 24 years teaching students from K through age 21 in the Cross Categorical and Autism Programs. Lori also served as the Special Education Coordinator for Extended School Year Services. Lori spent her last nine years in education as the administrator of The Academy, a Regional Safe School, serving students in grades 7-12 who were unable to attend their home schools due to being suspension or expulsion eligible.

    Since retiring Lori works with students with Autism at Transitions School as a substitute and also serves as a Special Education IEP Case Manager in the Quincy Public Schools.

    Educators make a difference because we understand our students are our most valuable resources. Our gift to our students must be dedication to their receipt of quality education, guidance and individualized instruction. As a result, doors in the future will be opened or their success. Education is my passion and I believe that it must be chosen only by those whose desire is to serve children with sincere hearts, thus providing the best learning opportunities and partnering with parents, community organizations and others committed to  educating the entire professional learning community.

    Bonita Cosby is an educator with a purpose. She has served as a retired Special Education administrator for Chicago Public Schools and an advocate for parents of students with special needs. She served as the  Principal of Irving Elementary School in Maywood, Illinois. In this role she served as an Instructional leader, District Leadership member and serves on a non-for profit organization to support parents and students in developing and maintaining literacy skills.

    Throughout her years as an educator, Dr. Cosby has served and dedicated, three years to South Holland school district, six years in Maywood as a principal, twenty-eight years of service to Chicago Public Schools as an Interim Principal, Principal Trainer, Teacher Mentor, Adjunct Professor, Assistant Principal, Curriculum Coordinator and Classroom Teacher. Dr. Cosby holds a Bachelors degree in  Early Childhood Education, Masters degrees in Special Education and Supervision and Administration as well as a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership.
